The Australian Wellness and Aesthetic Professionals Association (AWAPA) is an emerging national body designed to fill a critical gap in the Australian health, wellness, and beauty industries. We represent practitioners in natural and non-invasive modalities, offering them accreditation, credibility, and career support through a unified association.Our founding board is composed of distinguished professionals, each bringing up to six decades of experience in clinical practice, training, and industry standards. Their collective expertise ensures AWAPA remains firmly rooted in both educational excellence and practical relevance.Our mission is to provide national recognition, community support, and professional development opportunities for all these practitioners.
Our Assessment and Accreditation Commitee
President: Dr Justin Greenslade - General Surgeon with an interest in laparoscopic, general, obesity surgery and laparoscopic anti-reflux surgery. He also offers laparoscopic cholecystectomy and laparoscopic hernia repairs. Dr Greenslade trained extensively in upper gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary and obesity surgery at the Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide, the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield, UK.
Vice-President: Dr Mihaela Lefter - Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon. Dr Lefter consults public patients at Central Coast Specialist Centre at Gosford District Hospital and consults and operates on private patients at Brisbane Waters Private Hospital, Gosford Private Hospital and Campbelltown Private Hospital.

AWAPA was founded with a vision to unite professionals across diverse sectors — from medicine and wellness to aesthetics, mental health, education, and personal growth — on one collaborative networking platform.
